The competition closed 9th September 2019. Participants were asked to submit a media strategy that speaks to 8.8 million regional Australians, utilising $1 million of advertising across regional TV, radio, press and digital.
The six top-scoring submissions were brands San Remo, SKYN, NRMA, Pilot, The a2 Milk Company and PepsiCo. They pitched to a judging panel of Boomtown and industry experts including Adjunct Professor Mark Ritson and Nigel Marsh.
The winner, San Remo by Wavemaker Adelaide, has received $1 million dollars to implement the proposed campaign. The results will be shared upon release as part of a case study.
Please note, due to COVID-19 this campaign has been pushed out to 2021. Results of the campaign will be shared via a case study later next year.
