Boomtown continues to pop up

The Boomtown campaign continues to roll out with pop up sessions held in Sydney agencies PHDMediabrandsPublicisCaratOMD and Group M last week as well as a breakfast in Melbourne.

Boomtown is a joint initiative between regional media players Southern Cross AustereoWINPRIMEImparjaGrant BroadcastersAustralian Community Media and Newscorp.

The Melbourne breakfast was hosted by The Hit Network’s Dave Hughes, who hails from the regional Victorian coastal town of Warrnambool, and Boomtown Chair and SCA Chief Sales Officer, Brian Gallagher, held a panel with former Nationals Senator and Charles Sturt University’s Strategic Adviser for Regional Development, Fiona Nash and Specsavers Head of Marketing Planning, Shaun Briggs, to discuss what Boomtown has to offer and  to debunk current perceptions of advertising in regional markets.

Boomtown will continue to roll out across the country over the coming weeks with agency pop ups in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.
